The Reed Law Difference

How Reed Law Differs from LegalZoom®

We know that legal document services like LegalZoom® have lots of commercials and would have you believe that a document is all you need. Reed Law disagrees.  You are looking for legal services, and the advice and knowledge of an attorney. Don't settle for a non attorney preparing your documents.  Have your legal work reviewed by an actual licensed attorney.

Know the facts and decide to work with a professional licensed attorney.

 LegalZoom® Statements
 The Reed Law Difference

“At no time do we review your answers for legal sufficiency, draw legal conclusions, provide legal advice or apply the law to the facts of your particular situation.”

Legal review should be more than checking for spelling and grammer.  Reed Law's attorney-review process goes deeper. We make sure your documents are done right, according to Michigan Law.

“LegalZoom® is not permitted to engage in the practice of law.”

Reed Law is permitted to engage in the practice of Michigan law.  We are members of the Michigan Bar Association and can provide the counseling you would expect from professional attorneys.

“This site is not intended to create an attorney-client relationship… Instead, you are representing yourself in any legal matter you undertake through LegalZoom’s® legal document service.”

With LegalZoom®, you’ll get documentation and nothing else. Having an attorney review and available for consultation is essential in all legal matters.

“LegalZoom® was developed by expert attorneys with experience at the most prestigious law firms in the country.”

While LegalZoom® was created by attorneys, attorneys are not reviewing your documentation or providing you with legal advice.  Fill in the blank forms can miss the complexities of each persons unique requirements.

“Save on legal fees.”

Reed Law is aware that legal fees can be expensive, that is why we have set up a flat rate fee structure. We are awared of financial limitations, so we provide quality legal representation that the average person can afford. Additionally, you will be getting the the professional advice and review of a Michigan licensed attorney with every request.
